WHOLE WHEAT OATMEAL BREAD
1 1/2 cup boiling water1 cup oats (not instant or minute) (organic).
1/3 cup butter or olive oil (either is good).
1/2 cup molasses1 tbsp. sea salt.
2 tbsp. active dry yeast (I use fast acting).
1/2 cup warm water2 eggs beaten (organic).
5 - 6 cups whole wheat flour (organic). mix first 5 ingrd. together cool to lukewarm combine dry yeast and 1/2 cup warm water.
stir lukewarm oatmeal mixture. mix well. add eggs and flour. mix throughly.
cover; let stand for 15 minutes (in a warm draft free place).
turn onto well floured surface;
shape into two loaves.
place in to greased bread pans.
let rise in a warm place until double (about 1 1/2 hours).
bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour or until done.
