The Dangers of a So-called Peaceful Religion
This may come as a shock to many of you but the expression
"freedom of religion" was one of the things that the founders of
this great country wanted for it's people. A freedom that they,
under the tyrannical rule of England, did not have. They wanted
to be able to worship God in accordance with His written word,
the Bible, and not according to the rules and dictates of the
Church of England.
They left their homeland in search of a country where all men
could be free to worship the One true God without fear of
reprisal or retribution from a dictatorial form of government.
That "freedom of religion" did not, and I repeat, did not include
the acknowledgement or acceptance of other religions such as
Islam, Buddhism, or any other religion that refused to believe the
very words of Jesus Christ when He said in John 14:6... "I am the
way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh on to the Father, but
by me"
Nor do they believe Peter's words when he said in Acts 4:12...
"Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other
name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved"
Nor do they accept the words of Paul when he said in Romans 1:16
"For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of
God unto salvation to everyone that believeth; to the Jew first, and
also to the Greek"
It should be quite clear, from the above verses that God does not,
and will not, recognize any other so-called religion that does not
acknowledge the all sufficiency of His Son's finished work on
Calvary's cross when He, once and for all time, paid the debt and
penalty of man's sin.
Over time we, having started out as "one nation under God", have
become a nation under "many gods". A nation that's now divided
by a myriad of denominational belief systems. Where division is the
accepted practice of the day. Is it any wonder that we've allowed
ourselves, because of our willingness to openly accept the "strange"
worship practices of other religions, that we ourselves have now
become corrupted, and in many cases, victimized by those same
Christ rejecting religions?
Let us not forget that earlier in England's Empirical history that
the crusades that were fought, were fought against the Muslims
who wanted to dominate the world with the Islamic religion, bringing
all mankind under the subjection of Allah and his Sharia Law.
Let's take just a moment to consider the options available to us.
Christianity vs. Islam...
The Bible, in plain and simple terms, tells us that if we choose to
reject the free gift of eternal life that God has provided to every man,
woman and child by simply accepting what God has done on their
behalf, then He will, because of His grace, allow us to live out the
remainder our lives, and at the point of our death, spend eternity
in the lake of fire. That is all a gracious, loving and just God can do.
He will not violate your right to refuse what it is He offers you.
On the other hand the Koran, in plain and simple terms, tells us
that if we will not convert and submit to the will of Allah and his
Sharia Law then the end result will be certain death. You do not have a choice in this matter.
Consider the words of the Apostle Paul when he says in
Romans 5:1...
"Therefore being justified (declared righteous) by faith, we have
"peace" with God through our Lord Jesus Christ"
In this age of grace in which we live God is no longer angry with us.
Because of His great love He poured out His judgment for sin on his
Son at Calvary's cross, sending His Son to a sinner's grave, and then
raised Him from the dead to prove to all mankind that the debt was
paid in full.
Do not, for one moment, believe that Islam is a religion of peace...
it's not.
